The Crossing Church & Centre is one of North Nottinghamshire’s top public concert halls within which the Music @ The Crossing programme offers high quality – mainly classical – performances to suit a variety of tastes.
Based in the heart of Worksop, this magnificent building opened in 2006 and offers a 350 seat audience capacity and deliberately-planned excellent musical acoustics. There are superb facilities for musicians, a concert grand piano, a recital-standard organ and ample performance space for large choirs, bands and orchestras. All of these are set within beautiful, contemporary and well-equipped surroundings.

Lynda Baron coming to The Crossing! We are delighted to announce that the Guests of soprano Michelle Todd in her 14 July 2012 ‘Happy &and Glorious’ concert will be the singer/actor/narrator Tom Solomon (winner of the BBC Radio 2 ‘Voice of Musical Theatre’ competition) and your Concert Host will be Lynda Baron (remember her as ‘Nurse Gladys Emmanuel’ in BBC TV’s ‘Open All Hours’, in Eastenders, Miss Marple etc)
Tickets will all be £12 (no concessions) and are on sale from Saturday 12 May 2012. (added 27/04/2012)
2) Ticket pricing. We regret that from the 12 May 2012 Cantamus concert onwards, the £4 ticket price will only be for Under 16s. This unavoidable change supersedes the ‘Children & Students’ wording of the previously-printed Jan-Dec 2012 brochure. Stated adult concessions continue to apply to audience members of 60+ years of age (added 26/04/2012)
